Uploading data files in Crispy

I need to refine a few experimental readings of the XAS of certain elements.The output from that experiment yielded files in the .dat format .Yet I am getting an error saying “File has the incorrect format” from the quanty module on CRISPY when I am uploading the experimental data under the “load experimental data” tool. How do i resolve this issue?
